Arson Hotline Reward Presented

Cass Co. – Investigators with the Missouri State Fire Marshall and Cass County Sheriff’s Office presented a check to Joseph Jordan of Garden City on Friday. The reward money is related to two Garden City mobile home fires in 2008. The suspect in that case, David Sanders was convicted in November and sentenced to 3 years in the Department of Corrections. Dennis Kleyh with the Missouri State Fire Marshall Office stated that this was the first reward paid to someone in Cass County.
The Division of Fire Safety in conjunction with the Missouri Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention, Professional Fire & Fraud Investigators Association, and the MO Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators have established the Missouri Arson Hot Line which offers up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest involving arson.
