Cell Phone Sally 9-1-1 Presentation

Dispatchers with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Cell Phone Sally visited students at Midway Elementary on Tuesday as part of an education campaign to inform children about the proper use of 9-1-1.
Cell Phone Sally’s message will encourage students to verify their cellular phone number, as well as to identify landmarks when making cellular 9-1-1 call, in order to ensure that emergency response arrives at the correct location.
“Children in particular need to become better acquainted with what to say, how to call, and when to call 9-1-1 for help” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
