Search Continues On 2 Acres

The on-site investigators today will consist mainly of forensic and crime scene investigators with the FBI, Kansas City Crime Lab and Jackson County Medical Examiner. Detectives with Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Belton Police, and Kansas City Police Department will also remain on scene.
Investigators are continuing to concentrate on a 2 acre space within the search area.
The scene will remain under law enforcement control until at least Saturday, however investigators may be able to complete their recovery of evidence by the end of today.
