Sheriff’s Office Locate Body in Field

Deputies were called to the area of E. 327th and S. Lone Tree south of Harrisonville around 1:30 p.m. after a farmer discovered a body near a field. Investigators at the scene determined that the body was that of a white male believed to be in his early to mid 20’s.
The body was released to the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification.
Investigators have not determined a time or cause of death.
