Cass County Sheriff Dwight Diehl presents Lieutenant Carol Taylor with a plaque and her badge at a retirement ceremony held on May 1, 2012. Lt. Taylor joined the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in 1991 and during that time served as dispatcher, deputy, and Division Commander of the Jail. Lt. Taylor retired as the Administrative Lieutenant in charge of CCW and Sex Offender Programs for Cass County. Lt. Taylor served with the Sheriff’’s Office for over 20 years. Taylor is the first female deputy to retire from the Sheriff’s Office.
