Cass County Regional Training Academy Graduation

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office Regional Training Academy held its commencement ceremony on Tuesday at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Fourteen recruits completed the 4-month full-time academy on May 19th. The graduates will be returning to several agencies in the area including the Harrisonville Police Department, Belton Police Department, Bates County Sheriff’s Office, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Two graduates will be joining the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Elizabeth Hizey and Deputy Anthony Martinez.
“I would like to welcome the newest members of our family to the Sheriff’s Office. As the only Sheriff’s Office in the state to be a licensed training center, we are proud to be training the next generation of Law Enforcement officers in our communities. In the last 4 years, we have graduated 56 cadets from our academy, who have gone on to serve their communities at more than a dozen agencies,” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
