Two Subjects Charged with Trafficking Drugs

On Wednesday around 9:40 am a deputy with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Unit stopped a vehicle in area of I-49 and E. 275th street in Harrisonville.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested for felony driving while revoked and taken into custody. During the stop, approximately 6 ounces of methamphetamines were seized from the vehicle.

Today the driver and passenger were both charged in Cass County. The driver, Carl A. Bogart, 37, Sheldon Missouri and a passenger Felicia R. Shepard, 37, Nevada Missouri were charged with a class B felony of 2nd degree Accessory Trafficking Drugs.

“Our office is committed to taking drug dealers and other criminals off the street. This is another example of our commitment to keeping our county safe,” said Sheriff Jeff Weber

Carl Bogart is currently in custody at the Cass county jail on a NO BOND warrant.

Felicia Shepard is being held in the Cass County Jail on $25,000 Cash Only.
