Cass Co. – The Cass County Tactical Team executed a search warrant last night in the 100 block of West Laredo Trail in Raymore. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation by the newly formed Cass County Narcotics Enforcement Team (N.E.T.) Narcotics officers from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Raymore Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol seized 101 marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia. Included in the seizure were truckloads of growing supplies such as lights, ventilation and water equipment called hydroponics.

A 46 year old white male and 40 year old white female were taken into custody at the scene. They are both being held at the Cass County Jail. Charges have not been filed at this time.

The Cass County Narcotics Enforcement Team is a collaborative effort between Cass County Law Enforcement agencies. The mission of NET is to stem the flow, use, sale and manufacturing of illicit drugs within Cass County through covert and overt narcotics operations. NET will focus its efforts on the apprehension of those persons that are involved in the illegal drug trade, producing high-quality investigations and assisting in the successful prosecution at the local, state and federal levels.
