Single Car Fatal Crash

Cass County Deputies are currently investigating a single car fatality accident at S. Austin Rd and E. 343rd east of Archie, Missouri.
Around 6:30 am the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a vehicle rolled over in the ditch at the intersection of S. Austin Rd and E. 343rd. First Responders arrived on the scene and found one subject deceased.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
Identification of the victim is pending notification of the next of kin.

Single Car Fatal Crash
The driver killed in a single vehicle crash has been identified as Trent C. Schindler, 21, Archie, MO.
A preliminary investigation at the scene revealed that Mr. Schindler was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash. Schindler was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on S. Austin Road at E. 343rd when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Schindler was ejected from the vehicle.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the crash.
