Garden City Man Killed in Tractor Accident

On Monday around 2:00 pm, Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported overturned tractor on East 315th Street, East of South State Route T near Garden City, MO.
According to Deputies at the scene, Paul Peterson 52, of Garden City was backing up his Allis Chamlers tractor when the rear tires dropped off the roadway causing the tractor to overturn. Peterson was pinned under the tractor and sustained fatal injuries at the scene.
The crash was investigated by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit and Jackson County Medical Examiners Office.
