In an effort to reduce alcohol-related traffic crashes, the Raymore Police Department, along with members of the Cass County Safety Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.), will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint during the last part of October, 2008. This enforcement project targets known areas of alcohol-related crashes and violations.
Motorists passing through the checkpoint should experience only a minimal delay. The Cass County S.T.E.P. coalition would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Cass County for their support and cooperation.
