Man Found Shot in Cass County

Around 5 a.m. today the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call in the 100 block of 1st Street in Garden City. Deputies arrived on scene and found that a male had apparently been shot. The victim, whose name is not being released at this time, was flown to an area hospital from the scene, with his injuries reported as life threatening.
At this time the case is still under continued investigation. Suspect information will be released when it is established.

Man Found Shot in Cass County is the victim of a homicide Cass Co. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 34 year old Matthias Fotovich Jr. died at a Kansas City Hospital over the past weekend due to injuries sustained from a gunshot wound.
The investigation into his death is being conducted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
