Sheriff's Office Conducts Search for Suspect
Around 7:00 am Cass County Deputies responded to the area of E. 217th and S. Home Farm Rd. near 291 Hwy, north of Harrisonville after a caller reported a white Ford truck stuck in the ditch and a man was seen running away from area. Deputies arrived and determined that the vehicle was stolen from Harrisonville. Deputies and a K9 unit searched the area, however they were unable to locate the subject.
The subject is described as a short, young, white male, 120 lbs., wearing blue jeans. Anyone that has information about the subject is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 816-380-5200.
