Sheriff’s Rodeo

The Cass County Sheriff’s Auxiliary is pleased to announce its hosting the 3rd annual Cass County Sheriff’s Rodeo October 4 and 5 at the Harrisonville North Park Rodeo Grounds.

The Auxiliary and barrel man/funnyman Tex Holiday will be hosting a dinner for Special Olympics Missouri on October 4. It will once again generously be sponsored by Family Center Farm & Home. The dinner will include Special Olympics Missouri athletes and a plus one. Each athlete and their sponsor will get into the rodeo for free.

Funds raised at the rodeo go to the Sheriff’s Auxiliary — a volunteer 501(c)(3) public service organization. The Sheriff’s Auxiliary supports the Cass County community throughout the year in several ways. Over 2,000 people attended the 2023 rodeo and thanks to the many sponsors and donations the Auxiliary is able to fund a variety of programs.

“We are excited to once again bring this family-friendly event to our community. We are so thankful for everyone who attended and sponsored last year’s Rodeo. We are looking forward to even more fun and more opportunities to provide support for the Sheriff’s Office and Cass County community”, said Auxiliary President Darren Rew.

These resources are used for D.A.R.E., Tan Santa, Law Enforcement Wellness, Benevolence Fund, Family Support, K9 and UAV programs.

A highlight of the benefits is Tan Santa. Over 40 Cass County children were able to purchase gifts for Christmas at the event in 2023.

“The annual rodeo is a fantastic event. We do these things for the betterment of the community and to increase interaction with our citizens in a positive way. I am very appreciative of our volunteers and citizens that support this event and our mission to keep Cass County Safe” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.

More details will be provided in the weeks and months leading up to the 3rd Annual Cass County Sheriff’s Rodeo.
