Paid Days Off:
- After 60 days = 40 hours
- After 1st anniversary date = 80 hours
- After 5th anniversary date = 120 hours

- RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must reside, or be willing to relocate, to Cass County, or an adjoining county, within one year of employment.
- FALSE STATEMENT:
- False statement of material fact/deception/fraud.
- FELONIES:
- Any felony convictions.
- PROTECTION ORDERS:
- You may not have any Active Orders of Protection.
- DRIVING RECORD:
- You can not have any DUI / DWI / Hit and Run within the past 3 years.
- Three or more chargeable or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
- Driver’s license suspension or revocation within the past 3 years.
- No valid Driver’s License.
- No more than 3 Moving Violation convictions in the past 3 years (Deputy Sheriff).
- PROBATION/PAROLE:
- Currently on probation, parole, or diversion. (Inclusive of deferred adjudication). Pardoned for any reason other than being innocent.
- NARCOTICS/CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE USAGE:
- Must be drug-free for 3 complete years.
- SALE OF DRUGS:
- Sale of illegal drugs or sale of legal drugs without a license.
- MILITARY DISCHARGE/CONDUCT:
- Dishonorable Discharge.
- Conviction/commission of court-martial offense.
- FAILURE TO COMPLETE:
- Failure to complete the Background Packet, and/or provide required documents.
- FAILURE TO DISCLOSE INFORMATION:
- A failure to list information to include prior work history and/or arrests where the court granted SIS or SES.
