Sheriff’s Office Execute Narcotic Search Warrant

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Unit and Tactical Team along with the Harrisonville Police Department executed a search warrant at 28905 S. Horn Rd in rural Harrisonville, early Wednesday morning February 13.
Investigators took three adults into custody and removed one child from the residence. Three people have been charged in the case at this time.
Jackie D. Ketchum, 51, Harrisonville has been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, bond $50,000 10% cash only.
Jennifer L. Hoffman, 45, Harrisonville has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child First Degree, bond $15,000 10% cash only.
Robert D. Russell, 57, Harrisonville has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child First Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, bond $15,000 10% cash only.
The charges are the result of an investigation by the Harrisonville Police and Cass County Sheriff’s Office. The charges allege that Russell and Hoffman knowingly committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, in the presence of a child less than seventeen years of age and that it was an established or prescribed pattern of activity, in that the defendants and another or others regularly possessed methamphetamine and smoked the drug in the presence of a child.
Investigators recovered numerous firearms and narcotics from the residence.
A child located in the residence was removed and released to the care of the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division.
All subjects are currently in custody at the Cass County Jail.
